Kuota Reviews - KOM, Khan, Kebel, Kredo, Kueen-K

Suck Creek Cycle is proud to be the Tennessee dealership of Kuota Carbon Bicycles. When we first heard about Kuota bikes, we wrongly assumed they were some cheapo Korean import… boy, were we surprised to find they are the Ferrari of bicycles, designed and built in Italy by what would seem to be Formula 1 technorati turned biciclati.
Check out these reviews and then come see for yourself how light, strong and beautiful these machines truly are.
KOM
Aptly-named lightweight flies going both up and down
Italy-based Kuota Bicycles is one of an expanding group of companies that offers frames built exclusively in carbon fiber. For 2007, Kuota jumps into a new league with the introduction of the ultralight KOM. Cyclingnews Tech Editor James Huang heads into the hills and finds out what’s in a name.
Khan
If you are a small but growing company and want to play with the big boys you better come to play with a great performing, great looking product and it better be priced right. The latest test bike from Kuota stands tall and proud in the world of high end bicycles…
Kredo
I don’t know who cooks up the designs for these guys, but they found a way to add a little swerve and curve to some of the super light stuff out there and toss in a little stiffness to boot. We get a leg over the Kuota Kredo.
Kueen-K
Another expected Hawaii debut will come with Kuota’s new Kueen K. Kuota National Sales Manager Paul Thomas visited the Triathlete offices to show us a fresh-out-of-the-box, still-smells-of-fresh-paint Kuota Kueen K. While the Eurobike prototype looked good, Normann’s race-ready frame looked wicked, much more impressive in person.
“It’s been like waiting for Christmas to come, but then Christmas was pushed back,” Thomas said of the close-to-Kona arrival. “Finally it came.”
Kebel
Local legend Hugh Worthy has been riding a new Kebel all over Chattanooga, Tennessee and the surrounding mountains. Hugh has been a longtime fan of carbon fiber bicycles, being an early adopter with a K2 Karbon full suspension MTB way back when Suck Creek Cycle had just got rolling. Stay tuned for a review of this new, more affordable Kuota.
…and here’s another Pez Page with some shots of the latest Kuota Kreations from Interbike ‘07
