AMFLOW PR CARBON - FULL-POWER EMTB
The most capable eMTB platform available at $4,999, and a serious foundation for upgrades
The Amflow PR Carbon is a full-carbon electric mountain bike built around the Avinox M2 Drive Unit, delivering 125N·m of peak torque paired with a genuinely swappable 800Wh battery, a 2.9kg carbon frame, 40 geometry adjustment combinations, and Apple Find My built in. At $4,999, nothing else in this category comes close on platform quality. The stock build uses FOX AWL HD Sport suspension and Tektro brakes, giving budget-conscious riders and upgrade-minded builders a proper carbon frame and motor foundation to work from. Available for preorder now with early June 2026 delivery.

The PR Carbon is for two kinds of riders. The first is someone stepping into serious eMTB for the first time who wants a legitimate carbon platform with a proper motor and swappable battery without spending $7K or more. At $4,999 you are getting a frame and motor combination that competes with bikes costing significantly more, and the stock components do the job without embarrassing themselves. The second is the rider who already knows what suspension and brakes they want, and would rather put their upgrade budget into those components than pay for stock spec they are going to swap anyway. Drop a FOX 36 Performance or Factory fork on this frame, swap to Magura Gustav Pro brakes, add a set of carbon wheels, and you have built something that competes with anything in the eMTB category at a fraction of the cost of buying there from the factory. Talk to us about what build makes sense for your riding.
The PR Carbon runs the Avinox M2 Drive Unit with 125N·m of peak torque across five assist modes including Auto and Boost, operating at as low as 45dBA. For most trail riding this is a strong, capable motor that handles climbs and technical terrain without issue. Riders who want the additional torque headroom of the Avinox M2S at 150N·m will find that in the PR Carbon Pro at $6,799. But for the vast majority of trail conditions and riders, the M2 is more than enough motor, and it sits inside one of the best carbon eMTB frames available at any price point.
Every PR model is built around a truly removable and swappable battery system, and the PR Carbon is no different. The Avinox RS800 ships in the box and slides out via a dedicated slide rail design secured by Battery Lock, allowing full removal for independent charging at home or a full hot swap in the field without tools. Range tested at 158km under controlled flat road conditions in Eco mode. For riders who want to extend further, the separately sold Avinox RS600 expansion battery is compatible with L, XL, and XXL frame sizes. The PR Carbon ships with the standard Avinox 168W charger. The 508W fast charger is available separately for 3x faster charging.
The PR Carbon runs the same full geometry adjustment system as the Pro. Five head tube angle positions ranging plus or minus one degree from the 64.5 degree default, two bottom bracket height settings at 349mm and 353mm, and four chainstay length positions from 440mm to 452mm. All hardware is included in the box. The carbon frame itself weighs approximately 2.9kg and is designed to accept standard component interfaces, making it genuinely straightforward to upgrade fork, shock, brakes, and wheels as budget allows. This is not a frame you will outgrow.
The PR Carbon ships with a FOX AWL HD Sport fork at 160mm of travel with RAIL 2.0 damper and Sweep and LSR adjustment, and a FOX Float Rhythm rear shock with a custom Amflow tune and LSR adjustment. Both are MY2027 builds developed with Amflow specifically for the PR platform. Braking is handled by Tektro TKD173 hydraulic disc with 4-piston calipers and 203mm Tektro Sensor Rotors, a custom spec for Amflow. These are competent components that will handle everyday trail riding well. Riders looking to step up the front end to FOX 36 Performance or Factory spec, or the brakes to Magura Gustav Pro, will find the PR Carbon frame is fully compatible with those upgrades and we can help spec and install them at the shop.
The PR Carbon runs the Amflow XMA-30 mullet wheel setup with a 29-inch alloy front and 27.5-inch alloy rear, both 30mm inner width and tubeless ready on SAPIM E-Light spokes. Tires are Maxxis Assegai 29x2.5 in 3C MaxxGrip front and Maxxis DHR II 27.5x2.5 in MaxxTerra rear. Both are proven trail rubber with strong traction characteristics. For riders who want to move to carbon wheels or a different tire combination down the road, the standard hub interfaces make that a clean swap.
Apple Find My integration is exclusive to the PR lineup and comes standard on every PR Carbon. It is built directly into the Avinox Drive System with no third-party tracker and no added hardware. Your bike appears in the Find My app with location and battery level visible without relying on a 4G network, and a one-tap buzzer function helps you locate it at a busy trailhead or parking area. The system also supports GPS, Bluetooth, OTA updates, offline navigation with GPX, FIT, and TCX route import, smart heart rate control, SmoothShift for coasting gear changes, and remote locating via Bluetooth. The 2-inch OLED Control Display manages ride data and navigation on the fly.
The PR Carbon runs the SRAM S1000 Eagle Transmission rear derailleur paired with the XS-1270 cassette in 10-52T and SRAM AXS Pod Controller for wireless shifting. The Avinox SL crank runs a 38T chainring optimized for the motor's power delivery. SmoothShift integrates the drivetrain with the Avinox Drive System for smooth gear changes while coasting. The drivetrain is shared with the PR Carbon Pro and is identical across both PR models.
The PR Carbon and PR Carbon Pro share the same frame, geometry system, SRAM S1000 drivetrain, alloy wheels, and handlebar. The key differences are the motor, suspension, brakes, and tires. The Pro steps up to the Avinox M2S with 150N·m peak torque versus the M2's 125N·m, FOX 36 Performance suspension versus FOX AWL HD Sport and Float Rhythm, Magura Gustav Pro brakes versus Tektro, and Schwalbe Gravity Pro tires versus Maxxis. If maximum motor output and upgraded stock components are the priority, the Pro at $6,799 is worth the step up. If you want to put that $1,800 into your own chosen suspension or brake upgrades, the PR Carbon at $4,999 is the smarter starting point. Either way you are building on the same carbon frame. Compared to any other brand at $4,999, nothing in the eMTB category touches what this platform delivers.
Yes. The Avinox RS800 battery slides out via a dedicated slide rail system secured by Battery Lock, allowing full removal without tools for independent charging or a complete hot swap in the field. Every PR model is built around this system as a core design feature, not an afterthought.
The PR Carbon runs the Avinox M2 Drive Unit with 125N·m of peak torque. The PR Carbon Pro runs the Avinox M2S at 150N·m. Both share the same five assist modes, quiet operation, and smart algorithm assist system. For most trail riding the M2 is a strong, capable motor. Riders who want the maximum torque headroom for the most demanding terrain will find that in the Pro.
Yes, and this is one of the strongest arguments for the PR Carbon at $4,999. The carbon frame uses standard component interfaces throughout, meaning the FOX AWL HD Sport fork can be swapped for a FOX 36 Performance or Factory, the rear shock can be upgraded, and the Tektro brakes can be replaced with Magura Gustav Pro without any compatibility issues. We do this kind of build work at the shop and can help you plan an upgrade path that fits your budget and riding goals.
Yes. Apple Find My integration is built directly into the Avinox Drive System on all PR models and is exclusive to the PR lineup. Your bike appears in the Find My app with location and battery level visible without relying on a 4G network, and a one-tap buzzer helps you locate it at a busy trailhead or parking area.
Amflow tested the 800Wh RS800 battery at 158km under controlled flat road conditions in Eco mode with an 80kg rider. Real-world trail range will vary depending on assist level, terrain, rider weight, and conditions. The swappable battery system also means you can carry a second RS800 or add the separately sold RS600 expansion battery on L, XL, and XXL sizes for extended range capability.
