The Amflow PX Carbon Pro is a full-power, full-carbon electric mountain bike built around the Avinox M2S Drive Unit, delivering 150N·m of peak torque in a complete bike that weighs 20.6kg. A 700Wh integrated battery with the 508W fast charger included, FOX Factory suspension front and rear, Magura Gustav Pro brakes on 203mm rotors, and carbon mullet wheels. $10,199.
The Weight Is The Whole Argument
Here is the number that matters most, and it is not the torque. The frame is 2.4kg. That is lighter than plenty of analog trail frames, on a bike carrying a motor and a 700Wh battery. The complete bike comes in at 20.6kg on a size M in tubeless setup. Full-power eMTBs making this kind of torque usually land several kilos heavier, and you feel every one of them in the air, in a tight switchback, and lifting the bike onto a rack. The reason to care about 150N·m is that it arrives attached to a chassis light enough to still ride like a mountain bike. If you have been putting off going electric because the eMTBs you have thrown a leg over felt like furniture, this is the one that changes the conversation.
The Motor
The Avinox M2S Drive Unit puts out 150N·m of peak torque in Boost mode from a motor weighing 2.59kg, a 21.6 percent gain in torque density over the previous generation. Five assist modes, including an Auto mode that reads terrain and rider input in real time rather than making you reach for a button mid-climb. Operating noise runs as low as 45dBA, which in practice means you hear the trail and your riding partners instead of the bike. SmoothShift ties the motor to the drivetrain so gear changes work even while coasting.
The Battery And Charging
700Wh of custom cells integrated into the frame, rated for 500 charge cycles. Amflow tested range at 144km in Eco mode under controlled flat-road conditions with an 80kg rider; real trail range lands lower and depends on assist level, terrain and rider weight, as it does on every eMTB. The part worth paying attention to is the charger. The 508W Avinox fast charger is included rather than sold separately, and it charges three times faster than the standard 168W unit. That turns a lunch stop into meaningful range instead of a wait. XL and XXL frames also take the separately sold RS600 expansion battery.
The Suspension And Build
FOX Factory throughout, which on this bike is the genuine article rather than a trim badge. The FOX 36 Factory runs 160mm with a GRIP X2 damper giving you high and low speed compression and rebound as separate adjustments. The Float X Factory out back carries a custom tune developed for the PX kinematics. Magura Gustav Pro four-piston brakes on 203mm Sensor rotors front and rear. The wheels are carbon at both ends in a mullet setup, 29-inch front and 27.5-inch rear on Amflow XMC-30 rims at 30mm internal, wrapped in Schwalbe Magic Mary and Albert Radials in Gravity Pro. SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission with an XS-1295 10-52T cassette and the AXS Pod Rocker Controller.
The Geometry
Forty combinations, and they are real adjustments rather than marketing arithmetic. Five head tube angle positions spanning plus or minus one degree from the 64.2 degree default, two bottom bracket heights at 345mm and 349mm, and four chainstay lengths from 438mm to 451mm. Every piece of hardware needed to make those changes is in the box. The practical use is that you can set the bike slacker and longer for the steep stuff, then bring it back for a week of tighter, more technical riding, without buying parts.
The Smart System
GPS, Bluetooth, OTA updates and remote locating are standard, and 4G IoT connectivity is included on the Pro rather than being an upgrade. Offline navigation imports GPX, FIT and TCX routes with turn-by-turn guidance that does not lean on your phone. Smart heart rate control will hold motor output to keep you inside a target zone, which is more useful for training than it sounds. All of it runs through a 2-inch OLED display on the bar.
How It Compares
This is the top of the PX range, so the comparison runs downward. The standard PX Carbon shares this frame and geometry but steps back to FOX Performance suspension, alloy wheels and the SRAM S1000 drivetrain, and it does not include 4G IoT. The PR Carbon Pro is the other direction entirely: trail geometry, a swappable 800Wh battery instead of this integrated 700Wh pack, and a lower price. If a tool-free battery swap mid-ride is what you need, the PR is the bike, not this one. What the PX Carbon Pro has that nothing else in the lineup does is the weight. Being straight about the trade-off: you are paying flagship money, and the two things you cannot get at a lower price point here are the 2.4kg frame and the FOX Factory dampers. Everything else in this build can be bought up to later.
Riding It Here
We have sold a great deal of Amflow since the brand launched, and the reason is the terrain. Riding around Chattanooga and through the North Georgia corridor means long steep climbs to earn short technical descents, and 150N·m turns a day with one good descent in it into a day with four. The adjustable geometry earns its keep here too, because the riding varies enough across the region to actually want two settings. Come ride it. We will set sag to your weight, walk you through the geometry adjustments and the Avinox system, and send you out on it.
